Y5/6 Football Tournament

On the 6th November the boy’s football team played in the first tournament of the academic year. This tournament was being held at Rugeley leisure Centre. The boys who represented the school were Ethan Smart, Jake Lee, Charlie Sharrock, Owen Rees, Brandon Bourne, Joseph Hammonds, Finn Reynolds and Wilson Cooper. There were 4 other teams at this tournament. They were The Croft, Gorsemoor, Moorhill and St Josephs. He boys did extremely well beating Moor Hill and drawing 1-1 against the croft and unfortunately losing 3-0 to Gorsemoor and 2-0 St Joseph’s. The boys deserved a lot more and should be really proud of their efforts and the way they conducted themselves at the tournament. I would also like to thank the parents who gave up their time to take the boys to the tournament.
