Our Day

Our school day starts at 8.45am prompt, with teachers beginning admission from 8.40am. The school gates, and classroom doors, will be closed at 8.50am. If you arrive late, please proceed to the school office, where you will be asked to register your child's late arrival by completing a simple form. Please do not send your child to the office without an adult.

Morning Nursery go home at 11.45am and our afternoon Nursery start at 12.15pm.

All of our classes have a short morning break. At break times there is a variety of healthy snacks and drinks available for Years 1-6 to purchase. These include; fresh fruit, toast or crackers, milk, water and a selection of juices. Nursery and Reception children have free access to fruit and milk.

Lunchtime is staggered, allowing all children a good amount of time in the hall eating their lunch, and plenty of time playing outside with their friends.

We believe in active learning and our Creative Curriculum reflects this ethos. Children learn inside and outside during all weathers, making good use of our outdoor environment and Forest School area.

The timetabled school day ends at 3.15pm. However, children continue to have further opportunities to develop their skills in our selection of after school activity clubs. We also offer wrap around care from 7.45am in the morning, until 5.30pm in the evening.
