Nursery and Reception September 2020 Intake

We are thrilled that you and your child will be joining Jerome Primary in September 2020, or continuing their journey if they have been with us in our Nursery this year. This page, and the Induction pack that is being sent out week beginning 1st June, should help you answer some of the questions that you may have regarding starting school. You will also find an email address to send any questions that you may have.

At this stage of the year we would normally be inviting you to parent welcome meetings and stay and play sessions, but due to these unprecedented times we are unable to do that right now. When the government adapt and update the guidelines we will do the same, and get in touch if we are able to carry out any of the above.

Currently our Home Visits will take place the first week in September as they usually do, you have been given a date and time in your Induction pack. Should restrictions prevent us from visiting you in your home in September, we will review this and contact you to make alternate arrangements.

Please be aware that all dates given in the pack - including school starting dates, may be subject to change depending on the government recommendations at the time. You may wish to read the parent letter dated 19th May to gain an insight into what school will be like if social distancing expectations are still in place in September - this can be found in the 'parent' tab of the website, in the 'letter' section.

Rest assured that we will do everything that we can to answer any questions that you have and ensure that your child settles into school well.

We look forward to meeting you all soon!
