Reception Intake September 2025

Open Evenings

We will be holding two open evenings this year. These evenings will give you the chance to meet some key members of staff, as well as the opportunity to view the EYFS area of school. We will also be offering tours around the rest of the school site at set times.

Open evening dates - 

Wednesday 20th November - 4.30pm - 6pm

Thursday 28th November - 4.30pm - 6pm

On both evenings, a tour of the school will be offered at 5pm.

Making an application for Reception class September 2025- 

Applications close on 15 January 2025. You can make your application by following this link -

Should you miss the deadlines, you can make a late application by completing the paper application form and either:

Please note:  Late applications may not be processed until after National Offer Day (16 April 2025).  Those that are received very close to or after national offer day will not be processed until after 01 May 2025. 

In Year Transfer

If you wish to move your child to Jerome at any point during their later school years you must complete a mid-year transfer form. These can be obtained from the school office or the Staffordshire County Council website. Please feel free to call the school office to inquire as to places we currently have available.

Should you submit an application, you will be advised of the outcome within 10 schools days or at the very latest, 15 school days.

In the event that a place is refused, information regarding the independent appeals process will be detailed in the letter.
