Menus and Lunchtime Information

Shires are responsible for our catering here at Jerome. We work hard to ensure that the menu we offer is appealing to the children. All children staying for school dinners order their lunch at the start of the school day. This means they never end up with a choice they did not want.

At Jerome we have a great time at lunchtimes. Children have lots of opportunity to play with their friends and can also join in with different activities led by Sports Leaders. We have a range of activities on offer, these include:

School meals are free for all children in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and those who are entitled to free school meals. Pupils in Nursery, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 may purchase meals at a cost of £2.45 each day.

Children from Year 1 - 6 are able to order snack for breaktime. The current menu and pricing can be found in the document below. EYFS children have milk and snack available throughout the day, so are not offered paid snacks. All children are able to bring a snack from home if they wish. This should be a healthy snack. Chocolate, crisps, sweets and biscuits are not permitted for breaktime.
